A masterclass of songwriting by famous american singer and songwriter Adam Falcon.

There are many aspects to the world of songwriting, each with its own approach. As we know, a song is composed of both lyrics and melody; as such, the question must arise: which comes first? For some writers it’s the melody, and to others it’s the lyrics. Oftentimes they’re created simultaneously.
What I plan to discuss are the many components that go into writing songs of various genres–specifically, the many different approaches that I’ve used and found most successful in the art of songwriting.

US guitar legend John Stowell and famous Finnish jazz guitarist Niklas Winter give a masterclass for guitar players.
Some topics of masterclass are:
- demonstration of the modes of the melodic and harmonic minor
- modulation techniques for song arrangements
- open string voicings.
John and Niklas also talk about guitar duo playing and what is important in that setting.
