Welcome to iDeeJazz festival!
iDeeJazz is an annual international jazz music festival set to take place in Narva for the seventh consecutive year, bringing together established artists as well as talented newcomers from Europe, the USA and Africa. Our mission is to deliver a varied and high quality musical experience to our audiences and to showcase different styles and genres of jazz music.
This year’s iDeeJazz programme features a number of outstanding concerts and inspiring masterclasses that will take place in two of the most distinguished buildings in Narva: University of Tartu Narva College, where jazz enthusiasts already feel at home, and, for the first time ever, the beautifully renovated Narva Town Hall!
We’ll transform the square in front of Narva Town Hall into JazzPlaza together with the audience and the artists over the two days.
We are very happy to bring top level jazz music to the city of Narva and turning it into a festival that unites people from different cultures. iDeeJazz is a great opportunity to experience good music, discover new talent and create unforgettable memories.
Check out our programme to see which concerts might interest you.
We’re looking forward to seeing you at iDeeJazz from 20-21 October!
See you there!
We are happy to share information about two special festival venues: University of Tartu Narva College and Narva Town Hall!
UNIVERSITY OF TARTU NARVA KOLLEDŽ is one of the main venues of the festival. This modern, cosy and sophisticated building is a great setting for enjoying jazz music. The architectural and interior design features of the building make it an exciting performance space for the artists and guarantee an unforgettable musical experience for the audience.
The second venue of the festival is NARVA TOWN HALL. This historic building dating back to the 17th century is one of the earliest baroque buildings in Estonia incorporating elements of classicism. It has become a symbol of Narva and possesses a unique atmosphere. The Town Hall is the perfect place to link the past and the present through jazz and create a common cultural ground for the future!
Thanks to the extensive renovations that have only just recently been completed, the halls of the Town Hall are truly breathtaking and beautiful! We are grateful to be able to offer our audiences the opportunity to explore a variety of artistic genres as part of the festival!
When you come to the festival, be sure to set aside some time to discover the exciting city of Narva in its autumnal vibrancy!

“Narva has grown into a real Estonian jazz city, where the tradition of high-level jazz concerts has been alive for more than a decade.
When we think of the Estonian jazz scene in summer, we think of resort towns like Narva-Jõesuu and Haapsalu, but in the autumn all Estonian jazz lovers make their way to Narva to visit iDeeJazz for the seventh time.
As someone native to Narva myself, I feel it is my duty to preserve this cultural tradition that unites people.”
