Festival history
iDeeJazz iDeeJazz is a festival with 15 years of history and roots in Tartu, which has been titled a landmark event for the city of Tartu and has become an important international jazz music festival for Estonia outside the capital.
Besides Tartu, the festival has also been held for nine years at Narva College of the University of Tartu, playing an important role in the development of European culture in Ida-Viru County in the last decade .
iDeeJazz started in 2011, some of the most memorable moments in the festival's history include concerts of Richard Bona, Dino Saluzzi, OUM, Sona Jobarteh, De-Phazz and many other great international artists from a total of 40 countries.
Starting in 2025, the festival will also expand to Viimsi, using the unique opportunities of organizing concerts offered by the dignified and modern building of the Viimsi Artium.
